Field Day

These photos are from Field Day, an event where amateur operators setup equipment in a location other than their home station such as a park, field or remote area. The idea is not only an emergency practice (getting your equipment setup in non-ideal situations in a short time) but also a contest to see how many stations you can contact during a 24 hour period. It's a lot of fun, as these pictures can show!
